Extruded Aluminum Enclosures

Extruded aluminum enclosures provide exceptional protection for PCBs and other electronic components. Designed with internal slots, these aluminum extrusion cases allow standard 0.063" PCBs to slide securely into place without the need for screws. Ideal for desktop applications, they can also be paired with optional surface-mount kits for added versatility. Featuring a durable black extruded aluminum body with die-cast end caps, these enclosures are lightweight yet robust, while their grooved exterior enhances heat dissipation. Extruded aluminum alloy housings and other metal enclosures offer inherent EMI/RFI attenuation, making them an excellent choice for protecting sensitive electronics.

What Is an Extruded Aluminum Enclosure?

Aluminum extrusion is a process used to create different types of aluminum products, including electronic enclosures. The process typically uses a hydraulic ram to push a piece of heated aluminum through a die, which forms the metal into a long shape. It's then cut to length. The final product is a tough, versatile, and cost-effective aluminum case.
