Why Use Clear Plastic Cover Enclosures?
A transparent cover can be a useful feature on many different types of enclosures and in many different applications. Typically, the purpose of a clear junction box is to make it easy to visually inspect the enclosure’s components without the need to actually open the enclosure. This can be critical in applications where opening your weatherproof box enclosure could mean exposing your components to the conditions you’re trying to guard against in the first place.
Industrial control panels, circuit breakers, utility meters, communications devices, and many other applications can benefit from the use of a transparent plastic enclosure. These devices often require regular status checks, but they also need to be protected from environmental hazards, making transparent enclosures an excellent solution.
