The ZH-100802 low-profile hinged box is constructed from a gray polycarbonate base with the option of a clear, or gray polycarbonate cover. Designed for versatility, the enclosure provides three different cover assembly styles: a stainless steel latch for quick access (includes area for padlock), a screw close option, or screw close with tamper-resistant screws for enhanced security. Regardless of which cover assembly you choose, a continuous gasket can be found in the cover, accompanied by a thick and tall rib that ensures a watertight seal without any parting line, reducing sharp edges that may compromise the gasket. Select from 4 different external mounting styles: a plastic multi-directional foot kit, plastic mounting flanges, a stainless steel foot kit, or no external mounting for when you have your own mounting solution. Secure your internal components effortlessly by utilizing the mounting bosses located in both the base and cover, offering flexibility precisely where you need it. Ideal for outdoor security applications, the housing is rated up to NEMA 4X/IP66, providing superior protection in harsh indoor or outdoor environments. Opting for the screw close configuration elevates its protection further, achieving NEMA 6/6P and IP67/IP68 for applications where the enclosure may be submerged.
