Polycase® launches new line of heavy-duty diecast aluminum NEMA enclosures

January 5th, 2016 – Avon OH - Polycase, a US manufacturer of plastic electronic enclosures, has added a new series of diecast aluminum enclosures to their product line. The AN Series heavy-duty aluminum enclosures are designed to house sensitive electronic assemblies in commercial and industrial environments. The aluminum project boxes are rated to NEMA/ UL Type 4X, 6, 6P 12, & 13 and exceed IP67 and IP68 requirements.

Available in both a natural and black powder-coated finish, the series offers 24 sizes ranging from 1.97” x 1.77” up to 10.24” x 6.30”. Most sizes are available with a molded on flange for surface mounting. A continuous silicon gasket provides protection against water and fluid penetration while the aluminum housing provides a natural EMI/ RFI shield. The AN Series metallic enclosures can be purchased directly from Polycase, competitively priced as low as $4.48 each.

With extensive experience in CNC machining and printing, Polycase can add cutouts and graphics to the AN Series enclosures.
