"Enclosure Quality very good. Used for a proto type Pager Phone used in Undg mining environment. Under evaluation in field trial in coming weeks. Possible requirement in future up to 300 if customers accept & approve end product. Will probably have to address the following: 1. Increase width to 10in : Will review your catalog 2. Product Overview

The WH-18 medium hinged enclosure is available in gray flame-retardant ABS plastic for indoor use, or gray polycarbonate for outdoor use (with the option of a clear cover when selecting outdoor use). The foam gasket in the cover makes the enclosure ideal for use in a wide range of adverse conditions, while the padlock hasp provides an additional layer of protection against unwanted tampering. Mounting your device comes easily with the use of the included stainless steel wall-mounting hardware or, the sold separately pole mounting kit. Secure your PCB utilizing the 8 mounting bosses located in the base, or take advantage of the mounting panel or DIN rail kit (sold separately). Note: The indoor configuration (ABS version) does not contain brass inserts, nor has it undergone formal UL testing. NEMA ratings for this enclosure are based on UL tests conducted on the outdoor configuration (polycarbonate version).
