Your Genius Brings Polycase Innovations
March 16th, 2010You know those new Microsoft commercials, where every day “ordinary” people are saying how Microsoft 7 was their idea? They’re starting to grow on me. I think it’s comical in the “flashback” portion, the person is always a more stereotypically “beautiful person.” Because we all want to see ourselves, as well as our world, as a better place. And that proves the entire premise behind the campaign: We took your ideas to make our product better.
Captivating Your Electronic Enclosures Specialists
March 7th, 2010I come from a large, Italian family of talkers. We can go on and on and on for hours, and still have more to say. While my father is not Italian, he has definitely learned to fit right in with the talking and story-telling. It’s a boisterous, good time, as long as the family is all together. Plastic Enclosures and Higher Temperature Options
March 1st, 2010When last we left off, our poor design engineer had discovered that his ABS enclosure failed to take the heat inside the car. Here is a brief recap:
The melting point on ABS is approximately 176 degrees F (80 degrees C). This means that when exposed to temperatures near 176 degrees for extended periods of time, ABS material will begin to lose its shape. When ABS is exposed to hot enough temperatures, the material begins to degrade and soften; leave it long enough and you’ll have a cooked enclosure.
