Polycase key fob enclosures are designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. Even though the key fob controls are tiny, the optional battery holders can still cause large amounts of damage if they slide around inside the case. In order to maintain the PCB’s integrity and avoid lasting damage, the battery holder should be soldered to the board. This ensures the holder and battery stay secure.
