August 13, 2020 

Summary: Lead time for customized enclosures is back to normal and expedites are now available again. The customer service department is open M-F 8am-5pm EST. 

Full update:  

Polycase customer service deparment has resumed normal operations and representatives are available M-F from 8am to 5pm EST. We continue to take precautionary measures to keep our team safe during the pandemic to align with the CDC recommendations. 

Lead time for customized enclosures is back to 3 weeks (standard lead time) and we have reinstated expedite options.

Summary: Lead time for custom orders is back to 3 weeks. The customer service department is open M-TH 8am-4pm EST & Fridays from 8am-12pm EST

Polycase customer service will now be available on Friday’s from 8AM to 12PM EST. We continue to take precautionary measures to keep our team safe during the pandemic to align with the CDC recommendations. Our general inbox ([email protected]) will be monitored for urgent requests from 12PM to 4PM EST on Fridays.

Summary: Lead time for custom orders is between 3-4 weeks & the customer service department is open again on Fridays from 8am-12pm EST

We continue to take precautionary measures to keep our team safe during the pandemic to align with the CDC recommendations. Our general inbox ([email protected]) will be monitored for urgent requests from 12PM to 4PM EST on Fridays.

Our lead time for customized enclosures is between 3 and 4 weeks. We are unable to accept expedites, but working diligently to reinstate our standard 3 week lead time and expedite options.

April 28, 2020 

Summary: Polycase will be closed Monday, May 4th to reward our team memebers for their hard work the past 2 months. The customer service department will remain closed on Fridays. 

Full update:  

Polycase has been working hard the past 2 months to continue servicing our customers while complying with CDC recommendations related to COVID-19. Our team has stepped up and worked a significant amount of overtime to ship product used in ventilators, temporary ICU pressure monitors, technology to convert hotels to hospitals, and a variety of other critical projects. We will be rewarding our team with a day off on Monday, May 4th. Our offices and production operations will be close accordingly.

Our customer service department will still be closed on Friday May 1st, and will remain closed on Fridays until further notice as previously mentioned. We will continue manufacturing / shipping on Fridays, and respond to urgent request that are sent to [email protected]. We will not be available to respond on Monday May 4th, and apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time, and wish you good health and safety.

Summary: Stock orders should ship within 1 business day, standard lead time for custom orders (machining & printing) is now 4 weeks. Customer service department will be closed on Fridays. 

Full update:  *Polycase remains open as we are classified as an essential business*

Since Polycase's inception, superior customer service and fast on-time delivery have been the foundation of who we are. The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged these fundamentals as we keep employee health and safety our number one priority. We have implemented many policy changes in order to maintain a safe work environment and comply with all CDC recommendations. Unfortunately, our production capacity has been impacted by these changes.

Therefore, our standard lead time for customization (machining and printing) is now 4 weeks until further notice. We continue to strive for on-time shipping for custom orders received before 3/31/2020, but most orders will ship 2-3 days later than originally scheduled.

Additionally, the customer service department will be closed on Friday’s until further notice. Our general email ([email protected]) will be monitored for urgent requests. All other messages will be addressed the following Monday. We encourage our customers to place orders via our website as those orders will be processed automatically. We will continue to manufacture and ship on Fridays.

We are keeping a close eye on the CDC recommendations, and will adjust our policies back to our previous practices when we feel it is safe to do so.

From the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, employee safety has been, and remains, our top priority. While we strive to maintain business operations, we keep employee and community health at the forefront of our policies and activities. Shift changes, additional cleanings and other COVID-19 added safety measures have impacted our production capacity, but we continue to strive for on-time shipping, and proactively notify our customers of any production delays. At this time, we anticipate a 2-day shipping delay for most customized orders. Our normal "same day shipping on in stock orders placed before 5pm EST" is also not guaranteed, but we are aiming to ship all stock orders within 1 business day

*Polycase remains open under essential business definitions*

From the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, employee safety has been, and remains, our top priority.  As States continue to enact “Stay-at-Home” executive orders, Polycase will continue to operate as we are considered an essential business per the US Department of Homeland Security CISA critical workers definitions. While we strive to maintain business operations, we keep employee and community health at the forefront of our policies and activities. We have informed our local health department of everything we are doing to provide a safe work environment, and they confirmed that we complying with all recommended measures.

With that said, Polycase will not be shipping on 3/24/2020 as we adjust schedules to further comply with social distancing and sanitation guidelines to ensure our employees safety. Our regular Monday through Friday shipping operations will resume on 3/25/2020. We will continue to strive for on time shipping, and proactively notify our customers of any production delays. At this time, we anticipate a 2-day shipping delay for most customized orders. We will continue to post updates on this page.

To date, we are striving to maintain standard lead times, however with rapidly changing circumstances regarding COVID-19, it is likely ship dates will be adjusted. We are closely monitoring all orders and targeted ship dates. If we are unable to meet our standard lead time or a previously confirmed ship date, we will notify you as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and will do our best to minimize any order delays, but our top priority is the health and safety of our employees and community. Thank you for understanding.

 

March 16, 2020

To date, standard lead times have not been impacted by COVID-19 and we have mitigated supply chain disruptions. However, the Ohio governor announced that all schools will be closed for a minimum of 3 weeks starting Monday, March 16th. We have yet to quantify the impact this will have on production capabilities, but there is a potential for capacity constraints at some point. While we are striving to maintain our standard lead times, given circumstances are changing daily, there is a potential for lead times to be extended and for ship dates to be adjusted due to COVID-19. We are keeping a close eye on the situation and if we are unable to meet our standard lead time or a previously confirmed ship date, we will notify you as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and will do our best to minimize any order delays, but our top priority is the health and safety of our employees and community. Thank you for understanding.
