Relative Spacing and Customization – Part 1
July 8th, 2010Having retired to Florida last year, my father decided not to worry about winterizing his boat since he’d be selling it this spring. Unfortunately, the boat wasn’t properly protected from the exceptionally cold winter we had this past year and the engine block cracked. It would cost between $4,000 and $5,000 to replace the engine in a boat he was planning on selling anyway. While commiserating with other boaters at the marina, one couple shared their misfortune as well. Both engines had to be replaced on their boat as well. Their repair bill: a whopping $100,000. Yes, their boat is nearly 3 times the size of my father’s so of course the bill would be higher. His $5000 paled in comparison to their $100,000 but it’s still crushing to have to shell out money on a repair. It’s all relative right?
The Easiest Way to Accessorize Your Plastic Enclosure This Season
March 19th, 2010For our anniversary, my boyfriend took me to a nice dinner, gave me the same card I got him, a scented candle, and his cold. Waking up Monday morning with a wicked cough, I decided to get medicine. I needed bread and milk, and as long as I was going, I could top off my gas tank. Now the deli by my house sells its very own fresh baked bread which is to-die for, but I couldn’t get gasoline or cold meds there. So I stopped at a chain gas station that also sells all sorts of sundries. My one-stop-shop for everything I needed.
