I’m taking off on a Mexican retreat in a few days. The forecast is calling for 85 degree weather and lots of sunshine. Living in Ohio, this time of year, usually means snow showers and below freezing temperatures. However, this winter has been kind – but it’s still no 85 degrees. So, in preparation for my vacation, I went shopping over the weekend. All the stores have out their spring and summer apparel, so it worked out perfectly! I was able to pick up a few new items for my vacation wardrobe.

Relocating Mounting Bosses to Accommodate Your Circuit Board

A customer recently sent me a picture of his PC board because he was looking to find an enclosure to house the unit. The circuit board only had 3 holes for mounting, but all the suggested enclosures I sent him had 4 mounting bosses. The customer then questioned how the circuit board could fit into the base. I was able to provide him the below solution for this frequent issue between post-designed circuit boards and Polycase® enclosures.
