The Polycase Electronic Enclosure Videos Library is Growing

January 26th, 2012

There is a video store by my house that is going out of business and they are selling everything in the store.  I already have an extensive DVD collection at home but decided to stop in to see if I could find any deals.  I watch a lot of movies, especially in the winter months, so it’s nice to have a stockpile of new movies.

Our Color May Be Blue But Don’t We Look Good In Green?

April 23rd, 2010

Don’t you just love when you wear your favorite shirt and someone says to you, “You look nice today.”? Ok, it begs the question, “Does that mean I look bad the rest of the time?” But really, it’s nice that someone noticed and put forth the effort to brighten your day. This happens to me every time I wear something red. With my Italian coloring, I look dead in yellow, but radiant in red. So I choose to wear red. A lot. (A LOT!)

Plastic Enclosure Helpful Hints: What’s Your End Use?

April 22nd, 2010

My boyfriend and I have started dinner and a movie night. This is a great way for me to relax, because he cooks dinner. He is, afterall, the professional chef. I have dabbled in the kitchen and do thoroughly enjoy cooking, but after watching him slice vegetables for a salad last night, I was awed. Mambo, Salsa, and Cha Cha – Oh My!

April 13th, 2010

I may have mentioned this a time or two: I’ve been taking dance classes. How did this happen? Well … as we were trudging through yet another winter month in Ohio, I was thinking about ways to spice things up a little. You know, break up the monotony of cold, gray winter blahs. My friend convinced me to try a beginners Salsa class with her. It was way too basic and slow moving for us, so after one class we decided not to go back. Then it was Zumba aerobics, which is a great workout (I highly suggest it if you have the means) but it’s not teaching us How-To. Now we’re thinking about a complete Latin Body Movement class that’s boasting “MAMBO/SALSA, CHA CHA, SAMBA DANCES AND MANY MORE”. It’s the “many more” that’s getting to me. How am I supposed to want to sign up for something that I don’t even know what it’s all about? I want to learn more in-depth Salsa steps, not waste time with something I’m never going to use.
