Polycase – Your Perfect Fit by PCB
August 8th, 2011Recently, my boyfriend was in the market for running shoes. He’s always purchased Brand A but as there are multiple options in this brand currently for sale, he decided to do some research. He discovered that Brand B would actually be best for his needs, however, having never purchased this brand he wasn’t sure how they would fit his foot. Anyone who runs will tell you, there is no one-size-fits-all shoe. A comfortable fit is imperative, and each shoe (even within brands) fits differently. So what did he do? Took his feet to local sporting goods store to try on running shoes.
Improved Graphics Department Means Better Choices – Part II
July 11th, 2011In our previous blog post we discussed how, like spring flowers add a pop of color after winter, Polycase’s improvements to our graphics department brightened the final product. Even against a black background, our double-hit process produces brighter colors and more crisp text. Let’s explore other improvements made here at Polycase.
Improved Graphics Department Means Better Choices
July 5th, 2011As the seasons change from dreary gray winter to a bright colorful spring and summer, I like to also brighten up my wardrobe. Put away the bulky, drab winter sweaters and overstuffed coat; pull out the floral dresses and crisp white shoes. Pinks and yellows and oranges and whites shine against the backdrop of spike green grass and crystalline blue skies. The natural colors of spring are a great improvement over the winter doldrums.
CNC Machining for Strength
May 23rd, 2011With Spring around the corner, I’ve begun my spring cleaning. Washing walls, scrubbing base boards, steam cleaning carpets: anything I can do to brighten the house after a long, cold winter. The next item on my list is to wash and re-hang the curtains. This is a very difficult task for me. First, at 5’2”, I can’t even get them down without a ladder, let alone get them back up. Then there’s the adjusting and readjusting to get both sides hung up evenly.
Adding Non-Conventional Parts to your Electronic Enclosure
May 1st, 2011We discovered that our TV stand would not work in the living room. Yesterday, we had spent the day scrubbing his apartment so the car was full of cleaning supplies such as vacuum, mop, and garbage cans. Since we passed a furniture store we decided to stop and just check out what was available. Finding the perfect stand at a great price, we knew we had to make the purchase immediately. However, there would not be room in the vehicle. Our sales assistant helped us come up with a non-conventional method to pack all of the items in the car and we made it home in record time.
